May 12 - 13, 2008:
During our three week visit we again rented a small car and headed down to the city of Windsor which sits right across the river from the City of Detroit in the USA. A few of the highlights of visiting Windsor are the waterfront parks which afford stunning views of the Detroit city skyline. Among Detroit's many nicknames it is also dubbed Motortown and fittingly one of the most prominent buildings on the skyline is the GM Building situated in the Renaissance Center of downtown.
For two consecutive evenings we set up tripod and camera on the banks of the Detroit River and trained the lens on Detroit city - the automotive capital of the world.
