We will have 3 days to explore Prague, so today we concentrated on the New Town District - Nove Mesto. This area is not so new but newer than most of the city.
We spent most of the time in the Wenceslas Square a place which represents the moral and historical conscience of the Czech Republic. Once the scene of violence and demonstrations, Wenceslas Square is now a bustling strip of boutiques, cafes, and historic hotels and buildings. Like much of the Czech Republic since the Velvet Revolution Prague is slowly being rebuilt. Our walk brought us to the Czech National Museum and the main Train Station built in the romantic jugendstil style - although some refurbishing is required.
