April 22 - May 22, 2008:
I'm jumping ahead from our travels in Europe now and will make a fresh start for our Honeymoon Canada Production 2008. We left Germany for Canada on April 21, 2008 and since then we haven't stopped - the wheels just keep turning!
Dropping the truck and camper off for a spring service, we decided to take full advantage of driving a much smaller rental car and headed to a few of Ontario's cities including Toronto, and Ottawa plus one of Ontario's most well known and top sights - Niagara Falls.
At the end of 10 days of solid shooting in cities, in chaotic traffic and with our feet throbbing, we picked up the truck and camper then headed to Brantford to visit a friend - with the intention of just visiting. Well a day visit turned into an overnighter, which turned into a week, then three. It was great, as well as catching up with an old friend we also managed to catch up with work completely - clearing the way for a less stressful trip across Canada. Spring has also been late to arrive in Ontario - the evenings have been brutally cold so we were pleased to have a larger roof over our heads, besides the fact that half the trees were still bare.
