North James and don't spare the horses .. today we said our goodbyes and left Brantford for the Bruce Peninsula and the shores of Lake Huron.

May 23, 2008:
Wow ... can hardly believe it's nearly the end of May already! We've had a really busy time of planning and organising the rest of our Honeymoon Canada production and utilizing a smaller rental car to travel around southern Ontario. Today we said our goodbyes to our friends and got underway in the camper, and now finally here we are - first night in the camper for 2008, surrounded by trees and only 30 metres from Cypress Lake in the Bruce Peninsula National Park.

We arrived late this afternoon, so had very little time for any photography throughout the day, but tomorrow we'll be taking a boat tour from the town of Tobermory to Flowerpot Island, part of the Fathom Five National Marine Park in Lake Huron. We did arrive early enough at the Cypress Lake campground for an evening stroll to the lake - our only neighbours within a 200 metre radius were the birds and squirrels.
